Intersurgical, a global supplier of medical devices for respiratory support, will deploy Interlake Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system in its new distribution center at its head office site in Wokingham (United Kingdom).
This WMS will manage and optimize all warehouse operations. For this, stock must be monitored at all times: assigning a location to the goods based on their characteristics and rotation, ensuring the products have passed the relevant quality controls prior to distribution, as well as organizing dispatches to customers and other Intersurgical sites in the group.
The company has worked with Interlake Mecalux to improve its current logistics processes and plan for further growth. Currently, it is building a rack-supported automated warehouse at its site in Lithuania that will also be managed by Easy WMS.
