Interlake Mecalux will unveil its latest technological developments at Modex 2024. These include its new line of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and the 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle. Likewise, it will present multiple functionalities, such as its DOM (Distributed Order Management) software and WMS for 3PL module. Modex, the event that brings together the world’s leading logistics and distribution companies, will be held in Atlanta from March 11-14, 2024.
Advancements in robotics: AMRs and the 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle
At stand B7202, Interlake Mecalux will exhibit its new AMRs, autonomous vehicles capable of moving products without human intervention. These advanced internal transport systems operate based on virtual maps, adapting to their environment in real time. They provide greater flexibility and increase warehouse productivity.
The company will also display its 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle. This high-density solution is centered around a state-of-the-art multidirectional shuttle car that moves inside storage channels and changes levels automatically.
Digital warehouse solutions
At Modex 2024, Interlake Mecalux will showcase one of its most recent logistics software innovations: DOM. This digital system syncs the various supply chain nodes for more efficient order delivery. The solution is ideal for businesses with several distribution centers and large shipment volumes.
Visitors will also be able to see demonstrations of the different Easy WMS warehouse management system modules. Notably, the WMS for 3PL module is designed to assist 3PL providers in making informed decisions concerning the storage, picking, and shipping of their clients’ goods.
