Mecalux consolidates its collaboration with the Eurocash Group in Poland

After supplying the Sosnowiec and Plewiska warehouses, Mecalux will equip the third Eurocash Group warehouse –located in Płońsk– with pallet racking.

The new warehouse, similar to the previous two, will comprise 28’ high pallet racking, with five load levels each. In total, they will offer a storage capacity for several thousand pallets.

Pallet racks, with direct access to the goods, provide highly dynamic SKU management and order prep.

On some of the lower levels, racks will be installed for picking of smaller products used to fulfill customer orders.

The collaboration between Mecalux and the Eurocash Group, starting more than 10 years back, has enabled the company to improve its various logistics centers in Poland with the implementation of innovative solutions that meet its storage requirements.

Eurocash Group is one of the largest wholesaler groups of consumer staple goods.

The company offers its goods through retail cash and carry centers and to the general public through franchises, in approximately 15,000 outlets under brand names such as ABC, Groszek, Delikatesy Centrum, Lewiatan, Euro-Sklep or Gama.
