Interlake Mecalux will exhibit at ProMAT 2025, one of North America’s premier trade shows for logistics solutions, taking place at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center from March 17 to 20. The company will present its latest technological innovations, featuring its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) series, two Pallet Shuttle modalities (the semi-automatic and 3D Automated), and the multiple advanced capabilities of its Easy WMS warehouse management system.
An automated internal transport system for every need
At Booth S2352 in Hall A, lnterlake Mecalux will display its range of autonomous mobile robots: the AMR 100, equipped with a conveyor for handling boxes, trays, and packages; the AMR 600, capable of transporting shelving units to pick stations; and the AMR 1500, designed to move loads weighing up to 3,307 lb.
Visitors will be able to see the AMR 100 and AMR 600 in action. These robots plot their routes using virtual warehouse maps to perform assigned tasks with the utmost efficiency. Their innovative navigation software enables them to identify and avoid obstacles, ensuring safe interaction with other machines and people sharing the workspace.
Technology and high-density storage
Interlake Mecalux will also showcase two of its high-density storage systems: the semi-automated Pallet Shuttle and the 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle. Both solutions maximize storage capacity by optimizing available space.
- Semi-automated Pallet Shuttle. This system combines technology with manual operations. Warehouse associates use forklifts to position the shuttle at the entrance of a storage channel, where it autonomously moves pallets in and out of their designated locations.
- 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle. An evolution of the semi-automated version, this fully automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) performs all movements independently. Visitors to Interlake Mecalux’s booth will get a close look at its core component: an innovative, multidirectional shuttle that moves within storage channels and changes levels automatically.
Advancements in logistics software
Interlake Mecalux will present the latest innovations in its Easy WMS warehouse management system, now enhanced with generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). This feature enables the WMS to understand and respond to queries conversationally, mimicking human interaction. With GenAI, users can communicate with the software via a chat interface that processes and answers complex questions, improving decision-making and boosting warehouse efficiency.
Additionally, the company will present updates to Easy DOM, a digital solution designed to integrate and coordinate all supply chain actors. This tool connects warehouses, stores, marketplaces, ERP systems, 3PL logistics service providers, carriers, and customer service centers. Easy DOM optimizes the selection of order fulfillment points within a network of warehouses and distribution centers, factoring in inventory availability and prioritization rules tailored to each business model.
