Interlake Mecalux will share its latest logistics software innovations at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo™ 2024 conference. Thousands of supply chain experts will attend the event, organized by the consulting firm Gartner, to discover the newest trends shaping the future of logistics. The convention will take place in Orlando, Florida, from May 6 to 8.
At Booth 226, Interlake Mecalux will present the most recent advancements integrated into Easy WMS, its warehouse management system. Implemented in over 1,000 facilities across 36 countries, Easy WMS is a scalable, user-friendly solution. It is cloud-accessible in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and compatible with the major ERP systems in the market.
Additionally, the international intralogistics group will unveil Easy DOM, its Distributed Order Management system for businesses with omnichannel strategies and large daily shipment volumes. This digital solution syncs all supply chain stakeholders, including warehouses, stores, marketplaces, ERP systems, 3PL providers, shipping agencies, and call centers.
Interlake Mecalux will also demonstrate how to maximize throughput in automated facilities with its warehouse control system (WCS). This solution coordinates the movements of all robotic equipment in a facility, ensuring the highest efficiency in the physical flow of goods.
The one-stop shop for intralogistics solutions will exhibit its complete product catalog, featuring automation and storage systems in addition to its software. In the US, companies from multiple sectors have boosted their logistics processes with assistance from Interlake Mecalux. Examples include Adidas, Porcelanosa, Yamazen, Covenant Logistics, and Charter Next Generation, whose automated warehouse in Ohio has a capacity of 15,400 pallets. Easy WMS software acts as the facility’s nerve center, optimizing processes and goods movements.
Conference
As part of the Gartner Symposium, Interlake Mecalux will host the session “Warehouse Digitalization and Automation: Imperatives for Boosting Business.” The talk will explore how state-of-the-art technologies such as the 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) can respond to future logistics challenges. The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. It will be held at Stage 2 of the Supply Chain Xpo, located in the Atlantic Hall of the WDW Dolphin Hotel.
